Topshop are at it again. Earlier this month we posted about their second Reclaim to Wear collection. This week saw the launch of another capsule collection this time partnering with Key to Freedom.
Key to Freedom support the charity Women’s Interlink Foundation working with young women who have been exposed to domestic abuse. These group’s of women from West Bengal have produced a collection of four beautifully printed scarves. Two in traditional Indian print’s and two in bold bright tie dye options. Topshop are supporting the initiative for one year with all profits will be donated to the Key to Freedom campaign.
The charity provides these women, some of whom have been trafficked into the sex trade with safe accommodation. they teach them basic skills such as sewing and textile printing with the aim of enabling them with the opportunity to be financially independent. The profits from these sales will not only alo=low these women a change of freedom and the ability to earn a living but fund further sites to support women in need.
