Slow fashion is having somewhat of a revolution with the focus and shift of consumers slowly ebbing away from mass market low price fashion to more enduring additions the their wardrobe.
Antithesis is certainly at the forefront of the modular fashion movement, a collaborative project by Renée Lacroix and Zahra Ash-Harper. It is a slow fashion label which produces high quality, versatile, tran-seasonal capsule collections. Modular fashion used to be considered somewhat of a student style interpretation of an open brief, but it is now certainly refreshing the dressing process if the fashion conscious. Antithesis is as far from my student memories of a modular fashion project as it gets. A highly considered thoughtful collection of wardrobe essentials that can be adapted to fit their purpose, sympathetic to the lifestyle needs of their cosmopolitan customers.
A simple elegant, shirt whose collar and sleeves come peel off to reveal a stylish sleeveless, collarless option, a skirt that a kimono that a drapey top, a 3 piece swimsuit sensation for all your travel requirements, a simple shift dress with inserted zippers to dress up or down with your chosen additional trim and our favourite the unassuming multifaceted winter parka.
